AirMode for Android: Control Your Media Playback with Air Gestures
AirMode for Android is a free utility and tools app developed by SparkDevs. This innovative app allows you to control your media playback through hover and wave gestures above your device, without even touching the screen. Whether you're doing the dishes, working out, or cleaning, AirMode enables you to control your music or video playback with simple "Air Gestures" above your device's proximity sensor, without the need to unlock your device.
With AirMode, you have access to four powerful gestures with over 10 customizable actions. You can map any gesture to actions such as controlling media playback, launching the Assistant, opening any app, and much more. The default gestures and actions include hovering to play/pause media, making one wave for the next track, two waves for the previous track, and three waves to launch the assistant.
To ensure optimal performance, it's recommended not to move your hand too fast, as the proximity sensor may not register the movement. The app also provides a "Practice & Test" page where you can practice and perfect your gestures. The proximity sensor on your device is usually located at the top, near the earpiece.
